oil pressure sender

I am going to install a oil pressure gauge (probably Autometer) and am wondering if the original sender will work if I splice into it. I am having a hard time finding metric adapters to use a tee fitting so I can use the sender from the new gauge and keep the original. It would be a nicer installation with just one sender anyway. any experiance with this?
Thanks,
Dennis

no the factory is more of a on off switch

the autometers come with the needed parts , but you will need a adaptor for it

there is several ports you can use , and i think the adaptor is a 12.5 auto meter sells them
