It should neck down to 2.25" over the rear axle. And any muffler shop should be able to fab something up like that for you.

I had a custom exhaust made a year ago. My pipeing is 2.5" all the way back. If your going to do that and if your planning to lower your car, lower the car before you get an exhaust made or it will rub

Does anybody think it be worth it to just buy the 2.5 piping and then keep your stock muffler on. Would I see any hp gain if I did this instead of doing both the muffler and the 2.5 inch piping.

When all i had modded was just an intake and exhaust, u could tell a little difference in the seat of your pants but big difference was gas mileage. I got 5mpg better with just and intake and catback. But then i did others mods and lost my mileage.

Yeah but for 95 bucks you'll probably still gain about 3-4 whp so for that price it isn't a bad deal in my eyes. I'm gunna order it this week i think and when i get it installed i'll tell you guys if I noticed a difference and if it changes the tone of my muffler.

I rode in a G5 GT with a full 2.5 slp catback and a k&n intake no other mods. Compared to my car with custom intake, CA V2 header, LSJ downpipe, he has all top end power and no low end. I have all low end power and no top end.

Yeah i just ordered it yesterday so i'll definetly let you guys know how it feels and plus do a vid. I actually just thought of something else yesterday, I was thinking of buying a ss/tc muffler and see if that would make any difference to.

You sir are correct... I put a custom Cat-back on mine and only noticed a slight gain on top end... I noticed that the motor revs quicker...

So I got the over the axel pipe installed today. Not sure when i'm going to get chance to do a vid but it should be soon whenever i get a chance to borrow my friends cam corder. Overall performance wise I noticed a slight difference in top end power and low end feels about the same or slightly better. There was also no difference in sound volume or tone due to the piping only going up slightly from 2.25 to 2.5. I will more than likely do a muffler swap down the road when I get the cash. Overall I'd say it was worth it for the price and the top end increase.
