If you are auto then dont get anything too loud. I heard that automatics can drone ALOT. I got my Corsa touring and love it. No interior drone, doesnt sound like ****, not too loud.

hackabuse has an auto... he was just pretending to have a manual!

if you get a resonator with it, makes a world of difference... sounds great... the ONLY time i get any rasp at all is if it's cold out, or between shifts for a milisecond... but that happens with most of the exhausts... normal driving, no rasp at all... wot, no rasp...

(first off, no offense to Pacesetter owners, this is just my two cents) Pacesetter is no good, hence its bottom dollar price. My friend had a Pacesetter exhaust on his Accord when he had it, and he hated it, and ended up selling the exhaust and replacing it after only a few months of owning it. The black finish of the piping and muffler is unattractive, and the tip's finish goes to crap after a few months. If you want a nice exhaust, look to Magnaflow, Corsa and ARK. I have the ARK N2, and I know its not for everyone b/c of its size/style, but ARK also offers the DT-S, which is styled more like the Magnaflow/Corsa. GMPP is too stock-like for me, so i'd suggest one of the 3 I listed.

that's on a different car... you can't compare the 2... as far as the muffler and piping, you can't see that at all on a cobalt, so what does it matter? my tip is holding up perfectly, it's still as shiny as the day i got it...

people will always knock this exhaust because of the price... end of story... but it's holding up perfectly on my car...

I'm just not a fan. Friends who used their products on their cars always complained, and im just going on that. Plus, i'm really not a fan of the hidden muffler exhausts, where you only see a big tip. But hey, I owned an '88 RX-7 for 5 years, and it had an Apex-i GT spec poking out the back, so it was hard to not like the ARK N2 when it came out for Cobalts. But hey man, i'm not raggin on ya, if you like your exhaust, then thats awesome, and you should b/c your doing what you want, not what other people are telling you to do. If everyone came on the forum came and said they absolutely loved that particular exhaust, then there wouldnt be much of a reason to post an opinionated thread, now would it? There will always be critics on products you put on your car. I'm just a straightforward guy, and I tell it how I see it.

yea, i get it... everyone will like something different, i mean everyone gets the exhaust they did for one reason... they liked it... i was just sayin they've made some improvements recently, blah blah blah... and honestly, if my exhaust rusts out, who cares... for 160 dollars, i can buy 5 of them before matching the cost of some of the others out there...

I'd be all about getting the GMPP one. But it's a bit out of my price range. Those exhausts sound great.
