is there anyone on here who has one...if so is it worth it or is it just a piece of junk?

 

i dont think anyone with a 2.4 has trid to put a header on

 

pacesetter usualy makes pretty decent stuff, i know everyone who owned a cav loved them for the price. I shot an email over to turbotechracing to see if it would fit.

 

I would stick to SS/SC stuff if I was you since the Pacesetter might have smaller runners and a collector since it's made for the 2.2

This is correct, the current header avaliable for the 2.2L only fits the 2.2L. Pacesetter is working on a header for the 2.4 and 2.0 SC engine.

However the cat back exhaust for the 2.2L cobalt was just recently released for the 2.4L also, so it does fit both engines (same part.)

I wonder what kind of gains we will see from a pacesetter header

 

On the 2.4L I would guess 8-12 HP

im reviving this thread for new posts about the header. so after a year or so how does everyone like it, still good or shitty?

 

id like to know as well. whats up with the pacesetter or any other for that matter? im looking into full system Headers, DP, and 'catback'
