Pacesetter header

so a friend of mine has a pacesetter header for a 2.4 brand new he is selling to me i wanted to ask a few questions first before i bought it
my balt is a 2.4l auto will it fit i dont know if the auto and 5spd are different?
How good are these?
And would you reccomend them?

you will need a custom downpipe for it, it won't just bolt right on.

what is a good downpipe to go with it

if it bolts upto the stock downpipe you can use the auto downpipe.

Otherwise zzp makes downpipes you can order. But im not familiar with the pacesetter header.

http://www.exhaustdepot.net/doforpahe.html makes one for that header.

is there a better header/downpipe combo i should be looking for cause i dont want to spend alot on a combo if i could get under 300 it would be awesome

you can get a zzp midlength mild steel catless combo for right at 300 I think.... With the cat is a bit more plus shipping. a lot of people like that one.

it will bolt right up to your engine, you just have to cut ur dp at th top weld on your cat, weld on the new flange they provide, and your good to go...good header i run it on my car
