Please help!!

So I have a cobalt ss 2.4 and works completely fine while I'm crusing and getting places but if I drive uphill or I'm driving on the freeway fast, it starts to fail and every new gear that comes in kicks hard and if I try to drive it like that, I cannot accelerate and it eventually dosnt accelerate and the breaks get super hard so I need to push it hard. I have an automatic transmission but I don't know what could be wrong and I've taken it to several mechanics but they all say something different.

Just trying to help you out. I came across the thread but didn't know the answer, but replying to it brings it back to the top of the threads page so it has more visibility to other users, hopefully getting you the info you need.

Throttle body. i THINK this has the info you're looking for. it's a different motor, but the process for getting to/cleaning the throttle body should be about the same.
