PsykoStevo's tune installed by DOC
Nope. No more so then if you did with the stock settings. Its a program uploaded to the computer not something tacked onto it. Its not like your clock on your radio if thats what you mean.
Off topic, but what the hell you got sport tint? lets see a pic
I have the injectors, I just need the wiring harness. Unfourtunantly, b/c I moved recently, my credit card information dosent yet match my billing information, so GMPartsdirect.com voids my order, so I need to find another place to get the injector harness and i'll bet set. Doc was gonna tune my car this past Fri, but I never heard from him. Owell, I didnt have the harness anyways so it would've been a lost cause.
Drove DOC nutz cause the 2.4 is apparently a HUGE pain in the ass to tune! (sorry again DOC
) But besides the loooong ass time it took to get it right and all the awesome effort DOC put into it I must say the tune from Steve is AWESOME! Ok my car was no turd before but now...HOLY OH MY DAMN!!! Its freeking killer!!! Heres the run down and other questions feel free to ask. The car idles normal nothing crazy, under normal driving you can't tell anything other then slightly firmer shifts. BUT when you nail it hang on! The 1-2 shift comes in at about 50-55 mph at 7000rpm and barks the tires at times hard enough to give you a slight pull to the right! This is an automatic here folks!! Ok the 2-3 shift is right around 80-85mph and hits almost as hard and again is at 7000 rpm. Now this tune DOES REQUIRE the 2.0 injectore swap (of which I started a thread for
! https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...721#post924721 Who do you love?) And the harness form a 2003 to 2005 Cavalier OR Sunfire. The harness is plug and play with your factory Cobalt harness and it in turn is plug and play with the 2.0 injectors so no cutting, no splicing, no BS! Steve has video of this tune in action as it knocked off over a SECOND
(Yes you read that right) Knocked off OVER A SECOND off the 1/4 mile times for the 2.4! For a second to be knocked off for an automatic is serious stuff folks! And the total cost of this UBER TUNE.....$50.00 for the injectors, $5.25 for the used Cavi harness lunch for DOC (still owed IDK where he went to) and an undisclosed deal between Steve and I as I'm NOT going to cut his throat on this! But I doubt he'd charge TOO TOO much. But come on a SECOND or MORE off the 1/4 mile times for an automatic 2.4! How much would it cost you to mod it to that point? This is theee biggest bang for your buck out there PERIOD!
Now I'll be happy to answer any questions that I can.

I got mine from someone else here on the forums. I am thinking of going to the junkyard again on my own to scout out some futuremods. Junk yards are rarely in the phone book :-( gotta know where they are at I guess.
Well I'm having a few issues but nothing serious. My crank sensor just won't learn no matter what DOC did and my previous issue with the traction control service light coming on is now even worse cause the car bangs second so hard! LMAO! Its got to be a wheel sensor cause it started when I spun thu some ice and the drvers side tire spun like NUTZ! My buddy at at old work (the dealership) who's into modding BIG TIME is gonna look at it for me tomorrow and let me know what up with the traction control and since he has a tech 2 he can re-learn my crank senor for me too!
I doubt this is anyones fault more like a couple bugs to be worked out is all. And luckily I have a jumbo economy sized can of RAID!

I have no idea why those stinking '07's threw Crank position lights. There should never be a need for crank position learn unless you are swapping ECU's with another car.

The low traction light isn't the issue the problem is that the service traction and traction off comes on the display and the light comes on. I KNOW this isn't Steve OR DOC's fault as the problem started about 4 days before the tune was done. The CEL is from the cacnk sensor not learning and that will be fixed tomorrow so will why the traction control is acting up cause I'm taking it to my dealership buddy who has a tech 2 and can fix the re-learn and tell me whats up with the traction control.
