PsykoStevo's tune installed by DOC
I removed the torque reduction portion of the traction control, so it no longer pulls torque from the wheels when floored. That means when you floor it your Low traction warning will come on about 80% of the time.
I have no idea why those stinking '07's threw Crank position lights. There should never be a need for crank position learn unless you are swapping ECU's with another car.

ah i see. yeah when we tuned my car we didnt touch the traction control.im guessin if we did i would get the same thing.
Nope, his is a service light, not a low traction light. You will pick up more WTQ if you remove the torque reduction. The Low traction light means nothing, it's when the service light comes on, which has nothing to do with the tune.
Hey Psyko, do you have any idea why a '06 5spd would switch on the CEL after a tune? When I took it to Autozone, they told me it was a P0171 code, MAF or O2 sensor before the cat. Do you know what I can do to fix it?
+1 on wondering if it'll work with an ion, all I will have is the injector swap and maybe a cai at the time of the tune.. how much do you think it'll help me ? still about a second? i'm a 2006 2.4 manual ion for the record
That's a lean code. Not a sensor. You need your MAF readjusted when you can get around to it. If you do not use Premium fuel ONLY you will see these codes as well.
Yeah they work on an ION though you need slightly different tuning, because Saturns tend to have differences.

This new .18 version has more bugs in it than ever! It must be because they added Fords to the lineup. Damn Fords! I have to reload HPtuners after nearly every car now!
Well my crank sensor is re-larned but my traction control keeps going off and as it turns out its cause of the tune. The issue I had prior was scaned and found to be due to the ice I hit and the car re-set itself and it wouldn't have been a problem. Steve's tune makes the car chirp 2nd which makes the traction control want to come on but his program says not to so the computer gets confused, truns it off all together and turns on the service traction stuff. The CEL is back because Steve is 3000 and some ft above sea level and I'm damn near at sea level so the MAF sees things outside his parameters and throws on the CEL. I've PMed DOC to see when I can drive down to visit im to get the MAF calibrated for the lower altitude and hopefully DOC can turn off the traction control at that time eliminating the damn traction control crap too.
Steve anything you can think of that I missed?

Just wondering on the progress here. My buddy has the 2.4L and is gonna unload my stock injectors from me and get himself a harness. We have a couple guys in the city with HP Tuners, but we don't know how to get him a good/reliable tune for the bigger injectors. Do you have the ability to email us a tune or something??? I have no idea how that works, please help :-)
