im not going to do this but i was just wondering what would happen if i put a 3" cat-back on a 2.4l n/a. i know they make 2.5" inch pipes for it but was just wondering what would happen if a 3" was put on..

 

you would lose too much backpressure because the engine does not move enough air to need a 3 inch exhaust. then it would harm exhaust scavenging and likely lose performance. along with being loud for no good reason
