Question about stock internal durability when applying boost

So heres the deal, I'm planing on boosting my 2.4 LE5 with zzp's stage 1 or possibly stage 2 sometime in the near future. I was wondering if our stock clutch / internals would handle this kit if i were to keep it at resonable boost say 8-10 psi? If someone is boosted either with turbo or supercharger around the same boost with stock internals please reply, thanks.

The stock internals are good to 400+ hp. You should have no problem with either stage 1, 2 or 3 on stock internals. I would recommend you change the clutch though.

stock internals are no problem for stage 2, like riko said, about 400hp. The stock clutch will not handle that power, stock clutches in our cars are weak.

not to try and thread steal or anything.... its kinda related. u guys know how the tranny would hold up on the auto 2.4 with the same setup (i.e. the zzp stage2 turbo kit)

auto tranny would do fine. According to gm its stronger then the F25 5 speed which holds up fine as well

400+ is good to hear seeing i don't even want to go near that haha, but how do you think an exedy stage 1 clutch would hold up? should be sufficent for that modest amount of boost right? It's still going to be my daily driver so i don't really want such a heavy clutch.

mmm no, exedy stage 1 doesnt hold much more then stock torque then stock, its more for car with basic boltons and such, go for the stage 2, still good for a daily driver and will hold the power when needed.
