So I have been reading up on the 2.4 that are boosted and I know I can put a turbo or a supercharger on the car with little issues. I know the transmission on the autos handle 230 torque or something like that but if i wanna get 300 hp outta my 2.4 on a turbo set up what can i do to beef up the trans. I looked around and found these guys (www.importperformancetrans.com) they have a performance trans that i believe fits but at $3000+ there must be a cheaper way of getting 300hp with a trans that wont die after 5000km or less.

 

I'm thinking about getting the rebuild kit from them. Possibly the torque converter as well. I've been driving around for about a year supercharged with numerous track nights

Thats my biggest concern atm because if i go boosted i wanna do everything rite the first time.

 

My transmission lasted 7 months, 2 AutoX's, and 5k miles of mostly highway driving before going Emo on me. Apparently, I'm either the hardest on my transmission or am unlucky enough to have had a bad tranny to begin with.

its running just as good as the day I got it.

 

yeah mine runs great or maybe even better only problem is when i get in the car for the first time of the day and its like Service T/C, Service ESC, Your fucked Have a Nice Day!

Oh does ur brake light turn on? I had same issue checked brake fluid
was a little low. Check that I'm sure by now u fixed it
