Reconsidering going S/C (yes again...)

Well I sold all of my sc stuff off a lil less than a year ago after buying the camaro. But thanks to a few locals and after getting some **** from a buddy in a vr6 and another in a mini cooper s. Im reconsidering supercharging my 08.

I know theres a good chance I have the lesser rods. But heres what Im thinking as far as the game plan would be.

2.8 pulley
dual pass
option b
80lb injectors (tuned for E85)
stock heat exchanger paired with a cobra heat exchanger
zzp cai
Lsj throttle body

Now I already have....
2008 Cobalt 2.4 Auto
Slp loudmouth catback
zzp shorty header
cti 3" to 2.5" catted downpipe (pretty sure it has a wide band bung.)

Will be having a good local tuner tune the car using HPT.

My power goal is only around 250whp

Whats everyones thoughts and opinons on this?

Go for it. If I were you I wouldn't ask people on here, only do it if you really want to. Also don't be concerned about what rods you have, those only come into play around 400whp. The sleeves would be the first to go on a stock engine but at 250whp with good tuning you won't have a problem.

BTW PM ls6rally for parts, he has a bunch leftover and he's a good seller.

thanks for the tip on LS6 but the locals should have pretty much everything I need. And theres times where I wish I had the extra power so this is something I want to do. And im not new to forced induction. Though I am new to superchargers. Only real reason for concern on the rods is that Im an 08 so I may not have the better factory rods. Though I figure 250whp should be a conservative number with that pulley the mods that I have and will have plus an e85 tune. Think zzp averaged 225whp through an auto on its stage 1 setup. So I should be where I want to be.

Honestly I just want more top end power and to take out my buddies chipped vr6 gti.

i think the rods are still pretty good even though theyre weaker than 06-07 ones.

2.8 with E85 should rip pretty good and will probably get you around 280whp.

if your wanting the top end power; Ill throw my m62 back on and sell you the TVS.
I didnt notice it before; but after 100mph or so on the street, the m62 runs outta breath.
That TVS keeps on going...until I pegged the speedo and my buddy on his cbr passed me, I let off...
