Saab 9-3 int mani

I thought I remember seeing that an 03+ 9-3 intake manifold will fit on an LE5. Cant find it though......

It was discussed a couple of years ago...I remember the biggest problem was it was hard to get one. Also had to modify it to work on a 2.2/2.4...port for brake booster vacuum, MAF sensor, oil dipstick mount...things like that. There was one Cavalier owner that started installing one (had a how-to going) but never came to completion...that I know of.

do you have a link to that how-to?

the intake mani shape / gasket is the same??

Haven't looked for the link in about 1.5 years...gasket would have to be modified the same way needed to mount the SC intake to a 2.2/2.4. see the GM ecotec build book for that.

My assumption is that its a slightly larger, higher flowing manifold.
