50hp is not a "little" gain on an engine running ~150 to the wheels to begin with.

It should be pretty safe... but make sure you get a quality system and have someone that knows NOS install it and teach you how to use it properly...

NOS used wrongly = boom.

He did a wet 75 shot.
It blew before he even left the line. I'm guessing too much too soon.

Just install an RPM window switch and TPS switch and you should be fine.

^basically he is right. i've been running it for a while now. never had a problem. just make sure you really do your homework on this. by the way a 50 shot is alot on our motors no mater which motor you have. think bout it if your a 2.0 you have 255 horse with stock plus a 50 shot thats evenlent to having 100 shot on a C5. Your gonna notice a difference. Hell I can break my tires loose in second doing 50 mph when i hit it.

i'm have a 75shot with a momentary switch, I don't trust the window switch. this way, you just spray wen ever you want, as much as you want.

That's the way I will have setup shortly. Only spray as much as you want to, perfect.

Wrong again...

Issue was the switch thought it was in 2nd gear when it wasn't and started injecting nitrous into the intake half a second before launch and there were a fuel puddling issue. It's happened to another member on here as well. As soon as gas pedal was pressed, kaboom.

Nothing about too much too soon considering the 14.6 run was run on the exact same set up as the one where it blew.

Ah jeez... you guys are totally missing the point.... Once again reading > than most CSS'ers
If the window switch failed it would start injecting too much too soon, causing it to puddle in teh intake... just as you wrote right here....
started injecting nitrous into the intake half a second before launch
And I never what caused the problem.... Just what happened
