Secondary 02 won't reach - ZZP header/DP

Well initially, I thought the extension they sent (which was half broken anyways) was for the primary 02 in the collector, because It didn't look like it was going to reach. But after getting everything bolted on we managed to get in in there with just enough slack. So I assumed then it was for the downpipe. So I bolt the downpipe on and go to connect the rear 02, and the cable is too short. But the problem is that there isn't a way to plug an adaptor on to the end of it because the cable runs all the way up into the engine bay? So I have two questions:

How are you supposed to get that thing extended, if it even IS for the rear 02?

Is there a difference between the 2.0L and 2.4L extensions? I bought the 1.75 header. It would plug into itself (male/female ends) but not into my primary when I went to see If I needed it. The plastic around the extension was completely busted during shipping, but the connectors inside wouldn't fit for my primary 02 anyways.

So I'm not sure which it is, whether I have the wrong extension for the wrong engine, whether it shouldn't fit the primary anyways because its for the rear (figured it would be universal though?), or whether you can even extend the rear 02 at all and how you do it...

mine fit no problem, but i couldn't put the original harness back in the stock location. I have it zip tied to something right by the tranny mount.

You mean your extension fits or your secondary 02? Right now, I currently have it in the wideband bung (before the cat) and have the bung it's supposed to be in (after the cat) plugged. It will at least reach that far.

The weird part is that I'm not throwing a CEL...

My first post simplified:

Which 02 is the extension for?
If it's for the secondary, how do you connect it? (no terminal to connect it to like the primary?)
If it's for the primary, why won't my stock secondary 02 cable reach?
Did I get the wrong extension? (wouldn't fit primary)

I had the same problem. I extended the wires myself.

the kit comes with an o2 extention!

it disconnects up in the engine bay and you throw your extention in there

Ahhh, thank you! Then just feed the wire down and plug it up? Just making sure... for the rear 02, right?

Does anyone have a picture of where it disconnects? If not, no big deal but I'd appreciate it.

Also, are the connectors on the primary and rear different? Somehow I'm thinking they're the same and I got an extension for the 2.0L. I hope it doesn't click in place because the plastic shell around my connector is broken...

basically just follow the wire up. I got to it from under the car. it was a real bitch to get my hands up there, if i remember it was up past the tranny mount, and was very tight. if you can somehow get a long screwdriver up there to get the clip off, it will be a big help. you plug the extension into the wire you disconected, then plug the 02 into the extension, and then it will reach the secondary spot. then you just have to do something to wrap up the extra wire. i bent back the heat shield, and stuffed it inside. and at the top, where it connects, i used zip ties.
