zzp header/dp to corsa exhaust problem

ok i just jacked my car up right now and im getting ready to install my midlength header/dp from zzp. but it looks like if i take off the stock header and dp and i put on the zzp combo it wont reach my exhaust! anyone have the zzp midlength header/dp installed ??? and what exhaust did you hook it up to? need help please

it works with the gmpp, megan, borla, corsa, magnaflow etc. take a pic if you can of where your problom is. and you might want to get different bolts for the header to downpipe, the ones zzp sent you suck and WILL break on you.

ooo it says it should fit up to stock... does yours meet the same specs? (the exhaust that is)

I have installed atleast 5 of them on different exhaust setups and it fit perfectly each time.

it's probably because the flex pipe is not stretched. once you get it on, the flex pipe should have a little leeway, and reach. may have to pull it a little but it will fit.

I heard they put diff. bolts in with the kit? the ones I got aren't bad at all.. (at least they don't seem to be)

Yeah the bolts have been swapped, its a good kit. I have the same setup. I have seen the old bolts too, I wouldnt have used them to hang a bird feeder.

EDIT: The sound of that combo is going to make you drool.

lol, i hope so. its already loud. i just pulled off the dp. i took a pic of the stock and zzp next to each other. let me upload it real fast...

i used to have that same jack, then i switched from the 2 ton to the 3 ton. what a difference! has a much longer pump handle too.

sorry! i have the same header/dp but it's a christmas gift so i'll get it next week can't wait to get it on. post up some sound clips, or at least what it sounds like when it's on!

your header is longer(mid-length) than the stock lsj one, therefore your downpipe will not need to be as long

it's a mid length, not a shorty header. the header is longer than stock. that's why the dp is shorter.

ok im just a lil stressed. im taking the header off now.

im holding the dp to the corso...

and you can see how far the flex pipe is from the stock header..

you can only use the zzp midlength dp with their midlength header

and the combo will bolt up to any exhaust that bolts to the stock dp
