Are you running premium? How is your maintenance? Are you tuned?

So how is your maintenance? Plugs go bad quicker when boosted. Also last time you changed fuel filter?

Also could be in the tune, maybe have it scaled back some?

well it could easily be winter fuel. It's most likely a tune related issue. I'm going to guess you were tuned in the summer, winter blend may not be as strong, causing you to knock a bit because you can run more timing in the summer. You really shouldn't be beating on your car when it's cold out anyways, so go easy on it, when it warms back up again, and we start seeing some summer blend, see if it goes away.

Shouldnt it be reverse effect since winter blend is more ethanol?

Incorrect, ethanol if added to fuel condensates water which is why ethanol winter blend is **** as well. And also if say the gas is e10 and your tuned for say 91 like op, his trims will Skew, possibly enough to cause his kr...

I always see KR on intercepter but if I datalog with VCM then I show none.. I've seen a few posts where people see KR on their interceptor so it may be false knock if it isn't to bad.

yep guys car was tuned during the summer, im pretty sure its the gas..

right now i dont really beat the car that much because i need a new clutch lol which is gonna come in may..

As for maintenance car has 55000Km, im gonna do fuel filter this summer.

Its been boosted @47000Km approx.

So ill go easy on it, install my new clutch, change the fuel filter, and prob do a retune..

What kinda of general maintenance should i do now??

thanks
