Short Throw Options

Any 2.4 guys installed short throw shifters other than TWM? I can not find any other options out there other than this thread

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/driv...2-2-4-a-69028/

Which makes me nervous, just wondering if anyone has already grew a pair and tried out a shifter not specifically made for our car but still turns out a direct fit.

Thanks for any help, I don;t have 180 to spend on a shifter and knob!!

We're the only manufacturer offering a short shifter that is engineered for your car. The shifter is a part of the car you use literally hundreds of time on a daily basis, it's not worth it to cheap out on such an important part!

Thanks for responding Frank. Do you think there will be any more group buys? I really want the short shifter with an M1 Abrams knob but don't really have the funds.

I have that cosmo shifter. It fits and works fine. But I honestly don't think it shortened it though if at all. Should prob go with a twm. I'll switch mine for a twm eventually lol

I wish I was a rich bastard, then I would definately get one. I am just going to replace with a knob and call it done.

For those that don't know.

YouTube - How to remove / replace Chevy Cobalt manual shifter

I did not make this video but it is the way to remove and reinstall the shift knob. When turning, make sure the plastic peice directly below the shift knob is turning as well. Mine was stuck on pretty good.
