Sorry another header topic

I want to make sure I'm getting the best, and correct thing for my car. I want a shorty header. The CA V2 seems to be the most popular. My friend phil has one, and was going to sell me his, but now he's saying I need his downpipe for it to work, and that it won't fit on my LSJ dp. (He has catted cti 3 inch to 2.5 exit) He says the header is 3.0 collector. But that's where I'm getting confused, because when I go on the CA site, it doesn't ask for a 2.5-3.0 option. Unless I'm thinking since they have an engine selection, I guess if you select 2.4, it comes with 2.5 collector? Some one help me out here, I'm so confused. I know I need 2.5 that's all I know.

Phil: the header and dp meet at 3 inch openings the dp to the cat back is 2.5

If I remember correctly the CA v2 fits to stock DP... maybe I'm wrong?

I have an 08 sport with an LSJ dp. I rather keep the lsj dp instead of change dp, cause funds don't allow to purchase both. I barely even have enough just for the header.

ok thats a 2.4l? ummm the collector for the lsj dp is in the shape of a circle and then its like a triangle shape with the 3 holes for the bolts
heres what i used for my 2.5inch collector

the stock gasket was too big to use as my gasket blew so i had to buy a new one, the best thing to do is ask CIA about that header directly bolting to the lsj dp

Haha, cia. Yeah I think I'm going to ask them. Cause if I can use phil's that would be great. Save me some money instead of buying new. He has one for the 2.0, but it doesn't look like there would be any difference. At least I hope not. He told me the inside is 2.5 but the collector is 3.0. He found out the stock lsj mani is the same thing. So that explains my question then. Their all 3.0. But I'm going to send CA an email and ask them. Any other info is still appreciated though!
