I put all the 08 stuff on my 07 and get this same issue. Thought it was something i missed. You can hold the T/C button for 10 secs and it will turn your esc off completly till u get it fixed. If its a warranty item and they replace it do tell what they did! il be needing that part aswell

I saw this last night but fell asleep to post. If this is the 08 i got a letter saying our vehicles were being recalled for that issue... so take it in and they should fix it... but thats all I know

the ESC senses off the wheel sensor. You have a plug right at the wheel sensor, if you trace the wire up where it goes through the body there is a plug just on the other side. this is true for both sides in the front. The rear plugs into each wheel sensor and is one harnes the runs along the rear subframe and plugs into a box under the body.its a box of 3 plugs " i believe" under the car to the right of the gas tank. those would be all your connections to check.

i doubt i am the first auto with an lsd in their trans, i could be wrong. but i'm the only one run running a torsen posi unit in the 4t45e, unlike the block setup that was sold by companies like team green.

I had this happen to me when I went through some really deep snow. It went away on its own though so I never had it checked out. I figured it was just a sensor fluking out.

According to my GM Tech, The Powertrain warranty only covers moving, internal, lubricated parts on the transmission/engine (Not physically ON it but in it)
I told him my mods and he said no sweat.

thought i might let you guys know that i brought my car in for the "service traction, service esc,esc off" problem. thought i might as well get the power steering recal done as well so when i went back to pick it up they told me the messages i was getting on the dic were related to the power steering prob(wich i can understand) so i kind of thought even tho it makes sense that they were just being lazy and not realy looking into it. it hasnt came back so i guess they were right and it was fixed by the replacment of the new power steering motor and such. ::knockonwood::
btw: they never gave me any probs about my mods & i didnt pay a penny.
