Exactly! When you spray N2O it is not really a N/A only motor anymore. Might as well just get the all the time available power of a turbo.

But some people don't need the "all time" power from a turbo. I go wot on public roads once in a blue moon. The only time i really push the car or need the power is that the track. Like it was said above different strokes for different folks

If you plan to spend $2000 for ITBs and not around that much for a properly designed exhaust header then you are wasting the money on the ITBs.

No available header is designed around the idea of having ITBs let alone the fact that the LE5 has VVT. ANYONE who says otherwise is blowing smoke up a dark stinky place. Only EFILive can even touch VVT at this point and not a single tuner around really knows how to deal with it. AND this is FLAT out fundamental to producing maximum power vs. daily drivability.

If any engine can become a monster N/A and maintain a smooth idle it's the LE5, but only because you can control VVT with EFILive.

It's worth the effort, but by far the hardest route to tread and the most expensive to complete successfully. The only saving grace is that if you get fed up you can always slap a centrifugal supercharger on it and that will only complement the majority of the mods.
