not sure if you can get one for the 2.4L i havt found one yet. I know my friend got one but he bought the 2.4L throttle body for his 2.2L. I think the 2.4L has the largest out of the three. I could be wrong, the 2.0 may have the better one.

on an NA 2.4, that's a good question
there's a bunch of threads about this already; still no one has tried it on an NA SS

Ours is 68mm (aoubt 2.7 inches ID), so there's been debates saying that larger could be an overkill and show no gains

You can adapt an LSJ throttle body if you want, but you will lose a lot down low. I don't think the gains would be worth it.

a 2.4 TB is almost the same as an LSJ's, it's not worth it for the amount of work and figuring out which wire goes where
(they don't have the same colors...)

It's already been figured out in Beck's thread.

what about on the 2.2? a friend of mine that slowswap knows apparently has the 2.4L throttle body on his 2.2 is there any noticable gain there or is it still a small difference?

It's a more noticeable gain because the 2.4 throttle body matches his 2.4 intake manifold. The 2.2 throttle body on a 2.4 manifold would be to small to fill the plenum fast enough. To large of a throttle body is also bad. It's all relative to the design of the intake manifold, as is the length of a cold air intake.

He also did complain though that he lost a lot of his low end torque because of the 2.4 intake manifold and throttle body. Its definitely more beneficial in the upper rpms.

That's because the plenum on the intake manifold is to big.

The 2.4 throttle body is not the problem, it actually helped gain back some low end. The 2.4 intake manifold is what really brought the low end power down. I'm definitly happy with the overall high end gain

yeah mine really kicks in at like 4000RPM. And about half into 2nd gear or it picks up, but ultimately i think 3rd gear is my best gear at the moment.

so ZZP managed to get about 1whp with an LSJ throttle body

considering that there's not a big difference in size, i don't think that the low end loss in power would be much noticeable

it's much more noticeable if you add a 3'' intake IMO, but what u gain in the high end is much worth it
