Hey guys, I was just curious about something. I'm planning on saving money up for a Hahn turbo kit for my 2.4L. I was planning on adding in a few mods along the way such as a CAI maybe a cat-back exhaust, and I was wondering, so taht I don't buy somethin and then replace it when I get the turbo and waste money, what will work with the Turbo, what comes with it and what everybody's thoughts are?

what mods do you already have? If you're stock... i'd say do some research, call Hahn, whatever you have to do and get the exhaust components a while (header, dp, exhaust).

 

yes if ur going to buy the kit..i wud just go with catback for now..ull buy the cai and once u get the kit u wont need that cai intake ever again. so buyin a cai is a waste of money. just go with a catback

 

all those mods will be illerlevient (SP) if u get hahns kit..

id suggest getting a TWM short shifter. thats the only thing off the top of my head that wouldnt **** around with hahns kit..

 

how would exhaust mess with the kit? sorry project but you fail lol

 

Exhaust will not mess with anything unless you go catless.

 

u can even get a downpipe n catback. i think hahn uses the same flange with any aftermarket downpipe...pm them.

 

sorry boys you all fail! hahns exhaust they offer is a 3' exhaust, GMPP is 2.25 or 2.5...

my apologizes for useing GMPP as a reference, at first glance i thought he said GMPP exhaust...needless to say..very few cat-backs are 3'..i assumed he ment he was getting a 2.5..if u get a 3" that would be recommended if ur going turbo

im running the 2.5 inch corsa exhaust with my hahn kit and i should be making 300whp by tomorrow if all goes well.

 

I got an appointment friday at a exhaust shop.

They are making me a custom mandrel bent 3" exhaust, im also gonna have a 3" dump installed.

 

get an electric plate for it its bad ass i have a full 3 inch on my srt4 with an electric cutout... good ****
