257HP, only problem is its for the Solstice...

Solstice Forum

Still, Its promising that its already devloped, I think with minor alterations in the piping you could probably get it to fit.

only problem is that the solstice engine is not mounted the same as ours we would need all new piping and probably exhaust manifold, anyway its cool cuz im pretty sure hahn is developing a 2.4 specific kit as well

Hence why I said that was the problem with it, the Sol is mounted 90* in the wrong direction to be used, but depending on how their kit is setup it may work with minor mods, and the R&D is already there on the turbo to use and etc.

I wonder how it will compare to the 2.0 Turbo, I'v herd reports that the 2.4 suffers from slow revving, which makes me thinkg the 2.0 would be the quicker engine of the two given all things equal.

450 would be heresay specialy from a stage one on a auto trans cause these kits work for both auto and manual i wouldnt think 450 id more say for the first stage 100 - 145 hp i dunno though hahn does do some crazy **** but im thinkin it will be the same set up i had on my 2.4 cavy and i hit low 14's with the stage one but our motors r stronger so ill expect mid 13's too low 13's first stage.. then u gotta remember the small stuff we can keep on our cars like ecu tune and exhuast i guess we will have to find out when the kit is released though....

Hi. I just joined the boards. Got my 06 Cobalt SS 2.4L 5-speed in December. Silver. Wanted blue but there weren't any within 200 miles of me and I didn't have time to wait for one to come in.

You're saying 5-speed 2.4L SS's are rare? I mean I haven't even seen any other 2.4L SS's driving around much less a 5-speed but I didn't think they were rare. The dealership where I bought mine had 3. The one I bought and two others in red.

Anyway, whats the cost on a turbo kit going to be when they're available? I'm going to be selling my 430hp Camaro soon and will itching with the speed bug(I'm not gay and street race but I like to have fun). All I'll have is the Cobalt for the next few years so I might as well make the best of it. I'm hoping to get 230-250 whp out of it. I'm new to 4-bangers (hell, make that cars with anything newer than seat belts) so I don't know what any previous kit cost.
