Tires too? The stock pirellis were absolute crap for traction on any surface and if he got a UHP Summer tire, he'd have a lot better launch off the line.

Haha, are you friggin serious ?? I don't see how that is even possible from an engineering standpoint, but with your build I guess anything is possible.

wtf did you do wrong?
Thats an area thats seriously almost impossible to **** up. Bolts hold the pulley on with horizontal force, the belt applies vertical force....there's barely any stress on those bolts.

I hope you get that stall condition figured out. With as much as you paid, you should expect the thing to run like stock...

If you torque the pulley bolts to spec you do not need loctite.

Not saying this is your problem, but in the future tell them to just torque the bolts.

this dude is totatlly dumb doesn't even know how many bolts go on the pulley and paid way up the ass to get it "professionally installed" and yet it breaks down cuz of the bolts. now the shop is blaming ottp. that is priceless.

stock lsj belt is 6 ribs not 8. I was supercharged. I cut 1 rib off. theres no reason why that would cause a failure. stupidity more than likely caused the failure.

my guess is they over tightened the bolts and thats why they broke.

seriously? this is hilarious.

OP please please please post up the emails back and forth between your beloved TORQ shop and OTTP about how its their fault.

but make a new thread for that one, this thread is getting stale what with all your bullshit stories about why you cant show us a video of it running or a dyno graph.

Bolts snapped, can't take it to the track. Bullshit. Obviously rosshady and his car are bull ****.

If you believe him then here's one for you and I actually have pics.

My 1969 Toyota corona already has a t-2c engine swap and since my old m-62 was just sitting around I paid a shop 80K to strap it on my car.

It make 250 hp on a mustang dyno so you can ad 1500 because they dyno low.
Umma be doin 9sec passes bitches and showin youz guyz what the Japanese revolution iz all aboutz.
But my front drivers tire iz low so i cant get any track #'s thiz month bitch *****s.
