Jn2, what are your mods. Anything to support the higher temps with the 2.8? All I have is ottp h/e for cooling mods.

60lb injectors
dual pass


i currently dont have a heat exchanger...this is as of yesterday, i had the air to air core that OTTP sells, but the brackets that bolt it to the car broke, so it fell under the car hile driving, ******* up my AC condensor and my radiator...luckily they are just bent, and not leaking...but i need a new h/e, i can say im not buying a heavy ass a/a core anymore, getting one that is actually meant to run water thru it, not pressurized air. Im going to be ordering a new h/e ths friday, ti'll than i wont be having any WOT pulls....

 

I don't have brackets for mine, it's kind of ghetto rigged lol A few zip ties on each side is what holds it in. It works, and is clean looking

yes but iirc. it even makes lsj's have a loss in hp. i wouldnt put it on my car.

 

Never saw documented proof of that though. Just one guy who claimed to have done some races. But we will see. Ive heard both sides that it helped some and heard 1-2 stories of it not doing as well. But as with anything tuning for it would also help.

As far as the sc swap. Would love to do this on my car but we will see how I feel once full exhaust and tune is done on the car. If its picked up enough (remember the balt is my daily) then I wont do the sc. If it doesnt then I will obviously do it!

 

You know you want to supercharge it. Full exhaust wont do nearly as much as a sc would. My balt is my daily driver

 

scotts car actually sounds really sick and total sleeper when u tell ppl its auto. its gonna an annoying sound now but thats cuz of his muffler or lack of

 

Haha yeah. It's an auto 4 speed, pretty slow.

I have a slight exhaust leak that goes away once the car warms up, but that stock muffler doesn't make it sound too nice lol

 

sure sex sounds like that but love sounds like a 2.4 TVS boosting by 4 speed FTW

you need to disable that code. the last thing you need is a big problem coming up and not seeing the code when it happens because the warning light is already lit up.
