wow thats funny. i could probly get a SC from a 2.0 and throw on my 2.4 and smoke a stock 2.0 all day. im running 170whp with mods as seen in my sig. i think i may wait till spring and after i have my big kidney surgery to get a better job and pay off some bills and get situated. then cobalt big build will be underway. cams pistons turbo and if my grandpa wants to lend me 5k then i can do everything. and make 300whp and burn up everyone lol.

For Halloween I wanted to be the Emo Version of Rodney King
I was basically going to get 3 of my white friends to beat me while I'm on the ground but I would laughing as they do it and screaming for more.
Moral of the story is
Make sure your white friends aren't racist or it will really hurt.

This one time I went camping with my buddy Jim and I had to go take a **** but I didn't want Jim to see me take a **** so I went into the woods, pulled down my pants and squated but what I didn't see was the family of racoons that was right behind my ass. Well appearantly they were hungry cause my nuts caught the downside to their unfortunate hunger. Long story short, Jim watches me **** from now on.

This one time I was inside this building that was 3 stories high. Well I'm walking up the stairs and this old man is behind me and all of a sudden he slips and falls backwards and goes down the whole flight of stairs hitting his head multiple times. I laughed so hard I literally pissed my pants. I later found out that he died.

There's a thread on THIS forum with VIDEO of a SS/NA beating a SS/SC from a light. Does anyone else remember seeing this.
THe SS/SC driver wasn't paying attention to the light and got murdered off the line, and botched some shifts. The SS/NA driver went perfect, and held about a car length the entire time.
You 2.0l guys need to realize that your engine is not God's gift to the Delta platform, and if a SS/NA driver catches you napping, you better have your "A" game on to save face.
To the OP. You're outmatched quite a bit. Full bolt on's, good tune, injector swap will probably have you running within 1 1/2 car lengths to a stock SS/SC, as they start upgrading it only gets worse . To win you need a nice 75 Wet shot of nitrous, or a turbo kit.

I say stick to your guns save the money then when the means($) is right buy a SS/SC I figured it out as soon as i beat a scion tc, if you can beat these you can take out civics, tcs, mazda3s, rsxs, preludes. A chevy SS/SC runs with GTOs Mustangs GTs Cobras and f-body gms.

. thats funny aparerntly it gets 15psi and 40 hp lol highly doubtful funny if it worked though.

in short, the mods you listed would not be enough.
a turbo kit would definately put you faster than a modded stage 2 ss/sc....
but if you want to get technical, a stock ss/sc usualy runs around a 14.5ish with an average driver who doesnt know better....
SS's run about a 15ish. so do some math here.
A full exhaust, intake, header, dp, cams would probably put you a bit faster (not by much) than a stock ss/sc with an average driver.
oh, tranny tune (if your auto), and a tune is a must.
in short, the mods you listed would not be enough.
