We offer the worm clamps because boost levels on these cars a generaly low, so there is not really a need for the t-bolt, but you can upgrade. They come standard on the twincharge kit.

but glad it made it home in one piece, he's happy now, wait until it's dialed in on high boost lol.
Be careful turning it up. He only purchased 39 lb injectors. They don't go very far, especially on a 2.4.

I think the turbo should be clocked a little different on the manual trans cars. We have not had a manual trans 2.4 turbo setup installed at our shop yet, so it is difficult to get everything set up just right for a kit that ships out.

The 606 code is a bit odd. It seems that something is not matched up with another component, possibly the new ECM vs. a body control module. Personally, I would delete the code if it were my car. If you want to try to track it down, I'll see what I can do to help.

are those standard 39 lb injectors or ford 39 lb?

we were talking about that and the ability for expansion.. I would suggest using 42s at least in the kit if they're not ford 39s Is there any possibility to trade in injectors?

how much room does he have/ what were the IDC's on your kit with the auto.. I mean he should running about 260 whp after a tune.. i'm just wondering for future reference for him

I'm not sure what application the injectors are. We purchase them in bulk.

He should be good to ~280whp on these injectors. You could contact Tim for trade in info if that isn't enough.

they were blue and loud as hell... lol
yeah I'm not working on the car, so I won't be doing the boost adjustments. That's on kyle/vince f/trifecta to play with.
probably the 606 code because it's a pontaic and not a cobalt maybe? don't really mess with them but I would assume they might use different bcm's. either or, it's easiest enough to turn that crap off.

anyone want to donate a turbo kit for my car lol?????? think sucks ass supercharged

Okay, just for fun: I work with this 19 yr old kid who just bought a new 2009 wrx sti. We were at a party and we were arguing because I told him that I could beat him in my rx8 based just on driving experience (I was drunk, don't judge me). this is his first manual car, first high horse car; I probably couldnt beat him in the rx8 no matter what, but I'm thinking after I get my g5 beast tuned, I'll be able to hang with him, what do YOU think?

I'm sure you'll be happy with stage one. I'm actually blown away at stage 2... and I'm not even tuned yet. The only suggestions I have is if you live in a strict emissions state, get the recirculated wastegate. Other than that, this kit is a blast! and you can always upgrade later with no big issues

Buying in March

First off, sorry if this is difficult to read. I'm not drunk, but I just got back from the bar and am EXHAUSTED. Haha.

I'm getting ready to buy the Stage II kit in March, but was wondering if there are any issues being that I have the Saturn Ion 2.4 Sport? Same LE5, same F23 tranny, but wasn't sure if there are clearance issues or anything being its designed a bit differently. Also, I keep throwing codes and won't come off a shift and the idiots at the soon-to-be defunct dealership don't know what's wrong and tell me its a bad throttle body even after its been replaced. Any chance the new PCM in the kit will fix that? It makes me want to sell the stupid thing, and I've only had it 5 months now. That is all.

One more thing. What's the max psi we can run without redoing the internals? I'll prolly stick at like 8, but having the abiity to run 12 would be awesome.

I'm thinking 8 to 10, depending on how the clutch is holding up.

Well I'm sure there will be a fitment issue and you will have get the pipes custom made. You can run 12 psi with no problem. In fact IIRC you can run up to 15 psi before needing to change anything internally. As far as your car throwing codes I'm not sure about that.

there actually shouldn't be fitment issues .. we have more room under our hoods.. compare the air boxes the ions are much bigger

it's a nice kit, not a bad install at all if you know what you're doing.

How about how the piping runs? Do you think he may have to change that?

nope as paul and a few others know.. the ions have more room in the engine bay.. long as the turbo fits in the back you should be golden

i apologize for the camera being all over the place.. thats my fault lol

thats a video from the first set of logs we were doing..

and i zzp if you read this.. do your customers a favor and use the right year ecm when you send out the tuned ecm with their kit.. because crank relearn/ security relearns are a PITA as well as it P0606 codes and engine pwr reduced because of things not correlating..

aside from that your kit looks awesome.. sounds ridiculous .. and seems to preform well so far

turns out he's pushing about 10 psi .. now sure how cuz he's running off the wastegate (which is supposed to be a 5.8psi spring) unless he's getting creep or something .. it's kinda hard to stare at the dash hawk though when that turbo kicks your ass lol
