Crate engine.......lol.

I can barely afford my Cobalt as it is. I dont need a $5,000 engine too, lol. Whenever my stock engine goes and I HAVE to get a new engine, then i'll look into the JBP blocks.

Just go buy a cheap used bug-eye WRX and put an intake/exhaust and you'll be running 14's.

I've never ran a 1/4, but in the 1/8 I ran a 9.7 on a cold track w/ no burnout on my 19"s, lol. Not sure what that would equate to in the 1/4.

btw, you still going to the meet today?

....i cant consider nos as naturally aspirated....

So when people say "I ran a mid 14 with a X Shot of NOS...Naturally Aspirated"...i find it false due to NOS being considered Forced Induction

Quoted Directly from the tunersource blog under 2.4L:

 The LE5 engine has variable valve timing and, therefore, has cam phasers.
 Not compatible with the GM Performance Parts adjustable cam gears.
 Both intake and exhaust cams have wheel-style cam locators.
 Intake and exhaust cams are the same casting with different profiles and slightly different locations of oil sealing rings.
 Intake and exhaust cam castings are the same casting as the LNF exhaust cam casting.
Cannot be replaced by the GM Performance Parts cam set or any aftermarket cam set.

I see where your coming from but its really a matter of opinion because Nitrous is temporary as where a turbo or supercharger is constant power see what I mean.
