theres a used GMPP catback for sale that I want to get, but I'm worried about the sound

I have intake my intake and header done.

I LOVE the way it sounds here


but I HATE the way this one sounds


why do they both sound so different? I want mine to sound like the white one.. not the black one.

 

Well theres a Touring or Performance version of the GMPP exhaust, slightly different sounds between them. And depends if the white car has a header or downpipe.
The black one sounds really close to mine. I only have the Performance catback, stock exhaust manifold/downpipe.

 

From the comments under the video im guessing they made a touring and a sport edition..so I'm guessing one is the touring and the other is the sport

 

Quality of microphones. You need real recording equipment to get the correct sound from exhaust clips, and even then they are not perfectly true to life.

 

oh right on, have you seen the one that Yeil2no1 is selling on OCC? do you know which one that is? and if he's asking too much?

and im guessing from the comments the white one is the touring then? because the black car has the sport.

the gmpp touring catback sounds like sex!!

the gmpp performance sounds like ass with a header and aftermarket dp. with stock header and dp it sounds slightly better but still not good for my taste..

gmpp touring is the best sounding catback ive ever heard on any lsj period

 

The first one is the touring edition

The second one is the perfomance version

Same flow but the second one is much louder

 

Yeah I LOVE the sound of the white one, I just texted buddy who's selling on my club and he has the sport ah well... The touring just sounds so mean!

 

Ya I've seen it, I wanna say its the sport but I'm not 100% and new its about $550 list so hes not that far off, send an offer see how low you can get it.

 

well i think you can just look around for the corsa muffler and resonator which are used for the touring version and put them on your stock piping and it might make it sound the same or extremely similar..idk

 

The performance isn't that loud...pretty deep too. Haven't watched the vids cuz I'm in class but I love how mine sounds. Have badmab header and 3 inch zzp catted dp to 2.5 inch. I'm about to go catless so that will be a different story prolly but yeah...def love the sound
