Will a Downpipe add power by itself?

2.5' catless downpipe, is it worth installing by itself? Will tuning it with a new downpipe on add any power as well?

dp by itself, you will see a little power. the real big power robber is the header. open that up with your dp and you will see power

^^^Yup. I would do both of them at the same time, or the header first.

my xtc downpipe just came in today! i think downpipe itself should add power since the stock cat is restrictive i heard. im going with a header combo tho.

Just go full exhaust. You won't regret it. Im running a CA header, XTC 2.5" de-cat downpipe and an ARK N2 cat-back, and its fantastic!

Remember, your exhaust is only as free flowing as your most restrictive part.
