ZZP Auto Tranny is now here!

ZZPerformance - 4T45E Transmission #

Standard to ALL ZZP transaxles are:

* All new Raybestos clutches
* New solenoids as needed
* New filter
* New sleeves, bushings, bearings and seals
* New bands
* New Borg Warner HV-093 chains
* Upgraded input speed reluctor wheel
* New valve body on shipped transmissions
* Differential gears and pinion shaft checked for wear
* Damaged or worn parts are replaced (bad differentials, or damage to the casing will be billed separately)
* Custom shift kit
* Plastic accumulators replaced with custom aluminum pieces
* Forward bands replaced with high energy green bands
* Hardened 4th clutch shaft
* Steel channel plate gasket
* Upgraded TCC apply valve
* GM DEXRON VI transmission fluid

Building and assembly is done with many proprietary techniques. This makes for very quick shift times, long clutch life, and higher HP capability than any stock transmission. /

Under 2k with the 245mm TC, not a bad deal even if no LSD is offered. When I buy, and I will...I'll see about sending them the EP LSD in place of the stocker.

I'm not even enjoying the life of forced induction yet and my trans is slipping already. 104k miles doesn't help I'm sure lol. 2/3 of its life is on a tune.

It's for racing, but I guess it is kind of redundant with launch control. I'm assuming the 2.4 has lc? I don't have an auto.

That's what a high stall convertor is for. Which is why they offer a wide range for stall.

You need a transbrake if you want to stall and launch at that exact rpm.

interesting... too bad they're too late in offering this, I went with IPT instead because of the un-sureness and lack of response time from the ZZP team...

I've been debating on getting the DIY rebuild kit from IPT. This year is the year I rebuild my transmission. My goal for the car 400whp, and I don't think a stock 4t45e will take the beating.

I can tell you that it wont, ask me how I know... lol
And you're gonna need more than just the rebuild kit... You have to actually ship your tranny to them and they do the actual build on it so that your tranny will survive... They modify quite a bit when they do it and include a 12,000 mile, 1 year warranty. No warranty just for the rebuild parts.

Doesn't matter what year. If its an auto then its a 4t45 and yes this is the replacement.
