ZZP cams for LE5?

Is this something we should be developing?

It seems to me that the LE5 engine could definately use some cams, and the fact that one of the two cams is completely compatable with the LNF should make it much simpler than it would be otherwise. What I'd really like to know is what other newer ecotecs are compatable with either the LNF or LE5, since there are quite a few out now that no one is sure about.

It you do it right it will make that turbo car of your go faster. but you'll defianlty need to work on the transmission.

nah, id love to pout down 200 horse N/A. remeber i commute 90+ miles a day mostly 6 days a week.

i averaged 30+ mpgs when i was turbo'd, n/a is only 24-25 mpg

More for Reliability than Gas Mileage, got an arugment for that?! haha i think not!

i've got 120K on my 2.4, i dotn wanna push it too much now, when this motor goes, ill prob. build a 2.4 for a turbo setup. but not yet

I'd have to asume that you know your parket for Le5 cams would be huge right? G5/G6/Solstice/Sky/cobalt/HHR/Malibu/Equinox/Torrent


lol could be a wise thing to do. I would deffinatly look into getting cams for my car though.

Im definitely listening. Some forced induction cams and some na cams would be nice. As long as they are automatic transmission friendly

hell yes. i'm preparing a build sheet and have been looking for an alternative for cams other then the jbp ones. and considering i got your guys header and downpipe might as well go with some cams when they come out

I agree. Most NA cars that Ive turbo'd got MUCH better mileage after. And POWA!!
