As with anything a good tune can seriously help out. So short of pulling our oil pans I dont think there is a way to tell yet.
Now back ontopic.
ZZP if you make these will you be selling them as a complete package like you do with the LNF's or is it possible just to get the cams themselves? Also what would the projected price be?

And if I was ever serious about power out my cobalt id be using those rods and pistons... or if I find a cheap enough 2.4 to rebuild to make it worth my time.

should be made! le5/lnf/lap are all compatible. and we need cams.
the rod issue is random.
someone needs to figure out how to make vvt work like vtec *flame suit*
and for the guy talking about finding a 2.4 cheap enough to build, buy a lap same block... and resleeve it to a 2.4

Im not stock. though i go back and forth on what I want with this car. I have a project eclipse that im tired of and and kind of wanting a 2nd project so I havent decided what i want to do. But cams and a tune ontop of my current mods sounds like a good start for me.

Got my attention now! Any expected price point? Will they be for sale with or without the head? I have plenty of people here to build a head for me so id prefer the straight cams and if needed valve springs.
Definitely in for more info!
Thanks zzp!

Thanks for the Update ZZP!!
so were looking at .004 more lift on the intake and .024 on the exhaust. and 10 Deg. more Duration.
any idea what expected gains are? and will there be a group buy to start it off with springs and retainers?
