ZZP header primaries
ZZP header primaries
I would like to get thes headers with cat for my ss/na. I know they say the 1.5 primaries are better for na. My overall goal is to supercharge my car down the road. My question is would it hurt power if I got the 1.75 primaries that's better for s/c? I know I could wait till its time to s/c but I wouldn't mind a little extra power and better exhaust notes now.
Any input would be great

This was just the thread I was looking for! I also just purchased the ZZP mid-length with 1.75' primaries, and was unsure if they will be beneficial to install before I get the SC kit. But if I'm not going to hurt anything by installing the larger header and downpipe BEFORE an SC setup, then I will just go ahead and install it once it arrives in the mail.
I don't see how it could hurt all that much when going from a 1.5 to a 1.75. Maybe low end but mid to high would be okay I'd think? But I could be wrong. I'd just like to run the 1.75 if it won't hurt. But if I have to wait then its no big deal either. Just hoping it won't.
Well I just wanted to make sure getting the bigger primaries wouldn't hurt performance was my main thing. Small gains are fine till I do get to go S/C
If you plan on going SC down the road then just get the 1.75" primaries. You will not lose performance while still being NA with them. If anything i'd say you will still gain some HP over stock but once you get the SC it'll be worth it. 1.5" primaries (which i have) are best recommended if you want to stay NA. Like another said build towards your end goal so 1.75 will be beneficial for you in the long run.
