u should be fine. the car may throw a code from not being used to the new air flow. but i didnt have a problem with my full exhaust. what i did have a problem with was my cai. it threw a code. but its the same basis. just have someone with a code reader delete the code if it does and then yes u will pass emmissions. its catted.. ha

usually the cars computer will learn after a little bit that its norma now and itll learn that its ok. car computers are amazing. although. i have noticed that in different air types. like, dense, moist. blah blah. then it may throw a code but it will fix itself. my light has come on twice from a lean code (from intake or exhaust), once when i first started the car and i deleted and once a few months ago when it was really moist out and crummy. it was on when i turned the car on in the morning then i went outside to read the code and it was gone when i came back. so it wont be a big problem at all. especially since emmissions are done far apart.

i just didnt want the light on all of the time because then if something actualy goes wrong with the car than i wouldnt know because the light is already on lol.

but if it is constantly on or comes on frequently than is there something to do like piut a new sensor in???

It will come on since the rear/downflow (or w/e it's called) o2 sensor is before the cat on the midlenght zzp header. As far as the car is concerned your basically running catless and it the cel/mil will turn on. My car is always rocking the cel from my midlenght zzp header... I'm going to buy a defouler real quick tho

http://www.modern performance.com/vibrant-oxygen-sensor-defouler-p-2094.html

Take the space out from modern performance to make the link work. But it basically extends your o2 sensor out of the pipe so it doesn't get accurate readings and won't throw cel's

yes you will most likely get a cel. you can get a defouler or get the rear 02 sensor tuned out by either hpt or trifecta then it'll never come back.

nope it'll trick the sensor into thinking the air fuel ratio is correct. you still need a tune though in my opinion to get the most out your mods.

I just got Trifecta Tuned a few days ago because of the check engine light for the cat when I put in a vibrant header and downpipe combo, just tune it, you never have to worry about those kinds of codes ever again

^this.

p0420 code pops up 99% of the time someone switches out the dp. it's caused by the "high flow" cat (or no cat in some dp's) and means absolutely nothing performance wise, it just trips the CEL.
