ZZP Turbo Kit

Just wanted to get any insight on this kit. Recently I heard from someone who bought this that the quality wasn't that great and also the tune wasn't very good. So if anyone who bought this kit and either installed it themselves or had ZZP install please let me know your thoughts on it.

Thanks in advance, and insight will be greatly appreciated.

Bump.

Ive always heard good things about their turbo set ups. I personally would run a air to air on a 2.4. And for the tune, a canned tune that comes in a kit usually isnt top notch because it needs to work on all cars.

I've heard the same and that's why I was confused when I heard bad things. I agree with you on the tune, which is why I'm planning on getting it dyno tuned by ZZP when I get it installed there.

was that for the guy with the 2.2? Because they dont offer tuning for the 2.2's and its stated right on their site about it.

ZZP makes great products and back them with a warranty, i wouldnt be afraid to buy from them. Not every company can be PERFECT, but they are one of the companies with the least amount of issues with their products. And if your getting it installed and tuned by them, the risk of having issues is much less.

No this was a guy with a 2.4, and you do make a good point, I'm still pretty sure I'll buy from them. I guess this just got me worried too much.

I would like to know who said that the quality wasn't that great, because they didn't call here and complain so it couldn't have been that bad. It's comments like this that make me wonder when is great, great enough. I would also like to see a kit on the market for the 2.4 that is better and as easy to install.

I did check out that thread, and for some reason he ditched the intercooler setup, but I can't remember why.

Our downpipes are made with extremely high quality. If you heard of a ZZP downpipe issue, it must have been a long time ago. We have had some hit or miss feedback on the mid-length stuff from time to time, but we don't build those.

I'm curious who would have bought our 2.4 turbo kit and didn't like the quality. Nearly everyone who has purchased this kit has had positive comments about the quality.

No, there wasn't. You are just being your normal hater self. But then I guess you will just deny it again and talk about how you once said something good about a ZZP mount.

I told you all I know about him, his name on here, and I doubt he would tell me his real name. I wish I could be more help with this.

matt you cant seem to get past that and move on. its sad. you pick and choose what you want to read that i post. i said i did not want to comment furthur to drag this thread thru the mud. put your big boy pants on and abide by the rules on this site and take the issue to pm if theres a problem, not to muck up the OPs thread.
