The car feels pretty peppy in 1st and 2nd gear throughout the band, feels alittle peppy for the first half of the 3rd gear band, and 4th, 5th, 6th feels ***** slow like theres no turbo at all lol.

BUT its an economy car so I didnt even expect any of the peppiness that we got in the first 3 gears. Felt like our 2011 Sentra SER spec V we traded in to be quite honest at first. (until you get to the upper gears lol.)
The ECO has the actuated louvers that close off parts of the front grille at highway speeds too, iirc.

6 speed manual. I believe the lower trim has a 5 speed manual and the LTZ comes also in 6 speed but its like retard expensive.

yes, this is true. Alot of cars now come with this function. basically any car 2011 and up has them. Toyota, Kia, Hyundai, Chevy. Its not some expensive technology but I dont think the base model has them. To me the wheel + Tires on this Cruze are what save the gas.

Which you could literally through on an LT and probably pay less then an ECO lol.

the 6th gear is useless to me so I never used it. The wife does.

Something that does bother me is the shift indicator light. Who bright idea was that?>!?!? annoying as hell and it cant tell the difference between going uphill and cruising on a flat surface. Theres no reason to shift to a higher gear going up hill lol.

I had Cruze LS+ 2010 (Europian model) - Manual

and now
Cruze LS 2013 (US model) - Automatic

There are some interesting differences like in Europe they don't have "on star".

I actually test drove a 2013 Chevy Cruze. It is a very sold car! The suspension is smooth, bucket seats are very comfortable with the lumbar, the six speed transmission is very smooth but it does get pretty slow after second gear. I wonder how this supposed 2014 Chevy Cruze SS will do performance wise. I mean, it's an economy sedan base. Appealing to the younger more speed sensitive society maybe wouldn't be a bad idea.
