Interesting last paragraph:

"Cobalt is also sold as a two-door coupe and higher-performance SS. GM's tight-lipped reps would only confirm that there won't be any Cruze convertible, so I expect we'll see a two-door at least, and possibly a hotter version to tackle Civic Si."

Well if they go after the Si I wouldn't expect to see a turbocharged Ecotec in the performance model then seeing as the Si is naturally aspirated. Maybe they will use the 2.4L LAF engine just retune it so it makes more power.

well there's no 2dr in sight and the same for SS. Both are years away. Nothing new here at all, just speculation on the writers part....bad speculation.
