Maybe hope for Cruze SS? New Buick Concept??

Buick Regal GS Concept
Not coincidentally, the Regal GS looks quite similar to the Opel Insignia OPC, bar a few aesthetic changes here and there. Power comes from a 2-liter Ecotec turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, sporting 255 horsepower and an impressive 295 lb-ft of torque. GM says that the car will hit 60 mph in less than six seconds and will be available with a 6-speed manual transmission. The car is all-wheel-drive and has great-looking 20-inch wheels (we wonder what it will look like without them).
The picture of the Buick looks nice. Not sure how the size compares to the Cruze, but good to see the motor is staying and maybe that AWD could make it over to a SS version. Know I'm just dreaming. . .

Is it a pig?
How much is the 2011 regal gs going to weight? I heard it was around 3700 pounds. Which if it is I am deeply saddened because I like this car so much. If it is 3500 pounds and under I will be happy.
I have zero need for AWD except for when theres significant snow on the road, which is like 4 days a year. Unlike most people I buy a car based on what it does 361 days of the year rather than being concerned with what never happens.
I like my 35mpg, 365 days a year kthnxbye.

dude, you live in PA just like I do... there are snowy roads WAY more than 4 days a year...
Ldk
Will the LDK run into the same issues the lnf will run into with fueling?
I wonder what kind of quarter mile this thing will do with 400whp?

The Regal is a big car. Its only 6inches shorter then the LaCrosse. expect it to be like 3300-3400lbs
The GS is also gonna be like $38k so...........
LMFAO at switchable AWD to save fuel. that extra 1mpg would really make it or break it for me too.
PS: Id love to see how you drive to average 35mpg on a TVS'd LSJ.

The 2.0T CXL arent even out yet and the car is just shy of $32,000.(th e2.0T is gonna be more than the 2.4L and the GS is gonna be more than the 2.0T)..... how can you NOT see another $6k minimum for the GS
In Europe the Insignia OPC (the V6 version of the GS) is $20,000 more than the Elite version which is equivalent to our CXL........
