See the frost build up? that was on a 90 degree day at the track. That intake is normally polished, as it is at the very bottom of the intake runners. Methanol also has ZERO lubricating properties, so running some kind of top end lube is greatly suggested. Its actually corrosive to aluminum and some other stuff i believe. Omiotek is right, if you don't know about it, or know someone who does don't bother.
