i think there was a post on here saying that the 2.0's have MAHLE forged rods from the factory.

 

We have MAHLE hypereutectic pistons from factory.

And GM forged steel rods.

 

I seen that JBP makes a connecting rod out of 4340 forged chrome-moly. Crazy price tag though. I guess they are for the more serious motor builds...

 

i bet the jbp 4340 jobs are not JBP, but another company that they got a price quote from, and did all the research for, and they are just putting orders in to the compnay that way they dont keep anything on hand.

 

i'd be interested in these somewhere down the line.. as i'm looking for the same power goal as you but not not until after i'm boosted
