I was holding my own until I had a little nitrous backfire @6500 rpm and short shifted 4th (still spraying lol) thats when you see him walk away from me. I was probably pushing @600-630 whp at that time (only on 25 psi that run)
car survived another day of racing.
trapped 147mph (1600 ft roll at 3600da) on boost only (for reference 600whp gtrs were only trapping in the 130's)
finally got the nitrous working and the clutch gave up on me first pull in 4th gear 2nd run it let go in 3rd
hoping to drive the car around a bit and get the clutch full broken in, running again oct 23rd at maple grove (1500ft roll race) hope to beat my previous 138.9 mph there now that the car is running at full kill.

and yeah nitrous wasn't working til the last 2 passes, then clutch crapped out so called it day.

I"m going to be driving it for the next few days to hopefully unglaze the clutch and get it to hold again. I need to break my 138.9 run from the last event I want to get high 140's low 150's on nitrous... and I"m not going to stop trying til I do lol.
and it's a KY stage IV single disc right now (new twin disc just came in but no time to install until after the oct 23rd race)
hope it's just since I on;y have about 250 miles of break in on it. fingers crossed it holds for beast coast
definitely a good time, it's fun to race regardless

Hope to see you next event! I'm hoping for a couple tweaks in my setup. My best trap for the day was 121 mph in the roll racing.
Track prep was awesome as the day went on though! They switched to 1/4 mile drag after 4pm. I did a few passes... best et was 12.6 on street tires in drag. Kinda pissed on my best run and I started breaking up shifting into fourth (started misfiring) so I had to let off the throttle towards the finish line.
A lot of fun though!!

good seeing ya again man, and that's not a bad run for the 1/4 at all, all things considering.
event was awesome, and definitely looking forward to the next.
sucks the track was awesome and my car wasn't lol. drove it daily for almost 3 weeks and it had been running perfect, figures you get to the track and all hell breaks loose lol.
think my missfire issue was caused by my catch can overfilling, pretty sure there is a decent amout of water in the intercoooler and it was getting on the maf
sorry i didnt make it out there guys. By the sound of it, with my luck, something would of broke on me and i would of been stranded lol.
Next year i want to get to one of these events for sure, sounds like a lot of fun. I have to get myself a truck now.

my car was hurt before the event. so was kind of expected. going to get the garage ready for cobalt teardown number 2million lol.
I really hope this twin disc can hold the power, really hate doing clutches in these cars
