honestly, I don't see why the old block can't be reused. You have to replace the sleeves regardless. Unless there is other damage not seen. But doesn't look like it.

thats what i was thinking. but if i were to use that one it would have to be aftermarket sleeves and not the solid design thats going in. that and turn around time would not be in my favor lol

bingo. best warranty ever.

news from yesterday is new rod and crank bearings, new rings, rehoned cylinder walls, head was milled a couple thousandths. new valvetrain put in. long block should be done by the end of the day friday hopefully.
