Destroke

Well Im thinking Who has done a destroke useing a 2.4 block ,LNF crank and rods and custom pistons. I have the K1 rods. Since I have a like new 2.4 VVT block and Weisco said they could do the 100MM bore LNF pistons I might try it and save some money by not having to find another 2.0 block. The 2.4 is a GEN 2 block same as LNF. Thoughts ???

Hmmm, I dont see the issue so long as you use the right main bearings (I doubt that they have different main journal sizes but they might) and head gasket (LE5 of course). I take it you're boring out the 2.5 because irrc its only an 89mm bore stock.

Wait, I see an issue, you'll have a bigger quench area and that might **** off the DI system. Oh and with bigger bore you'll have more compression.
