Gen 5 Blower
I am thinking of Doing a Gen 5 Blower off the Grand Prix GTP to replace our stock one. Has anyone done this? I ran a search but found no results.
Right now i have
- GM Stage two
- CAI
- Cat Back Exhaust
I know i will need
- 60lb Injectors
- Custom Intake
- Gen 5 Blower
- Tune
It should push out about 30 more horse out then our stock one i figure. Now that i think of it i might also need to get a heat exchanger...
Thread is open to ANY input. Is this idea Good, Bad, or going to get ugly? Thanks guys

If thats the m90 is will not make a difference. Now you could contact intense racing they have a blower that makes about 20 whp gain i think that is a gen 5 hybrid or somthing like that. Besides just go get TVS or the TS and be done with it! no custom intake mani need for that and it will make way more power then any gtp blower!

the m-62 was chosen for the lsj for a reason. the m-90 is too big and inefficient for our engine.
if you are looking for serious power w/o internals go for a turbo, if your looking for an all around amazing build try a built engine combined with the TVS
there are plenty of threads regarding both paths.
