Going turbo on my lsj
Mark sometimes I think you have no idea what you're talking about. Good guy by all means but I've been around in the game far longer than you have. 20-25 psi is plenty trust me! We will let the setup and Kenny's car do the talking and have this squashed once and for all!

I don't wanna argue with you mark or have bad blood here but I do know what I'm talking about and do know my ****. Just because I'm not on here all the time or a post ***** doesn't mean I'm retarded by any means. I learned from the best man, the old school crowd. Been around ecotecs longer than most these people on here besides a select few.
I think the pump is in the white pte box, brown box has ic piping, some couplers and tbolt clamps, and tial wastegate in it. Sorry in advance for the excessive bubble wrap hahahaha!
lol again idk where you're getting these ideas from. i never claimed to be "in the game" longer than you. or that you didn't know what you were talking about. or how time on this site or post count has anything to do with turbos. here's a fun fact. 99% of everything i've learned about forced induction, has not come from this site.
let me just quote what i said in the turbo lsj thread. i'm not trying to argue either. 20-25psi may put down good numbers, correct. but a 6262 won't have the powerband to back up it's peak numbers if you're only running 25psi. what i was saying was, if 600 was all he was looking for (which he is not, he wants to go higher so yes the 6262 is just fine) then he should go with a smaller turbo. here's what i said.

yeah that turbo definitely needs to be run at 30+ psi. or else the peak numbers just won't make up for the lack of powerband. and a smaller turbo on more boost should be used instead to gain that powerband back. thats what i was trying to say in your thread before byk got all bent out of shape and didn't understand what i was saying.
its like when i went from the 262 .70 to the 259 .55. went from a 62mm to a 58mm compressor, which will help spool but not power. and went from a .70 a/r to a .55 a/r which again will help spool but not power. but low and behold the car is now faster over all because of the better power band even though its lower peak power.
but he seems to flip out if anything besides positive words are said about that turbo. like when i suggested if all you were looking for was 600 then to go with a smaller turbo and run it in its efficiency and make the same or a little less peak power. but have a faster car with the gain in power under the curve. but all he reads is "smaller turbo" and then freaks out "this turbo isn't big, idk why people say its big, zzp this, bullseye that, blah blah" hahaha. i can't talk to people that act like that.

dont think it was really aimed at mark. It was more so others in his thread flamming his stuff because it wasnt what they were looking for. That is fine but to put products down just because they dont suite your needs is dumb
That's like me telling you. Kenny you're a cool guy but you don't know your ass from a hole in the ground.
i didn't see any products being put down. hell besides zzp and bullseye being randomly brought up, no other names were mentioned.
