Also, 2K5SS trust me when you live down here you learn pretty quickly that if all you do is hear about something and you never see it nor has ANYONE else it doesn't exist. All you ever hear down here is "oh you gotta race my friend, he has a 900hp EVO, wait till next week till I get my turbo" seriously I don't know why people go to these ricer meet ups cuz all it is is **** talking about is their civic 100hp is at the wheel or crank. I've been with this LSJ scene longer than anyone down here in South Florida and if someone has/is/was doing something like that to one of these engines I would have seen it or heard about it some way. The funny thing is that they always come from Miami like its some sort of pierti dish for LSJ's.
I have no clue about this whole whipple lsj thing... but I do know this...

Where I live (Saskatoon, SK), there is a population of about 210,000... in a province with just under a million people, yet is the size of Texas. (Basically, a lot less than South Florida)
We too have the stupid teens with no sense of automotive decency, and absolutely no intelligence at all. But on the flip side, there is **** that comes out of this province that amazes even me. There have been a few cases where people deny the existence of a certain car... and then boom... one day it seems to show up at the local track.

Soooo... saying that a car doesn't exist, just because you and your friends haven't seen it, doesn't make it not possible.
Just throwing that out there.

No disrespect at all but yes it does. I know alot of people at alot of shops down here. Not my friends, I have 5 friends and would trust them with my life, everyone else I'm just friendly with. However, I get calls saying have you seen this do you know about this yadda yadda yadda frequently. I do completely agree with you that it is 100% possible that said car could exist but it just doesn't. There are 3 BIG counties down here and most people will never see a car they always hear about but when that happens EVERYONE knows about it and knows it as if they had seen it. When you hear of a cobalt with a KB that apparently has been around for over a year that beats stage 3 srt's that noone has ever seen and noone knows about its kinda fishy. Also, tracks aren't cool down here, if your cool, you don't go to the track, you steet race cuz that has real skill and tests your ability to drive and whos faster

No disrespect back.. but that's a little egotistical.
I remember a few years back when I had the pleasure of meeting my buddies neighbor. Beauty twin turbo 350Z stroker. Of course all the tuning shops I deal with had said "it doesn't exist... we'd know about it." I got called a liar... until it showed up one day at a local meet... Holy ****... everyone was wrong.. including the local car guru who knows all.

So... I've seen it happen once in a small city... probability says it can happen again.
.... you underestimate the power of one guy with a milling machine in his shop....

and for the record, the sickest LSJ's are from miami.... with the exception of u, ur slow but i have yet to meet anyone with a stronger built engine. some guys here have head, pistons yada yada but no one down here has the full build like yours. theres stupid lil kis here that use there student loans to go fast lol. for a while there, eric was a common ghost here in miami.... i was always getting asked about a silver turbo rl.

I don't underestimate him at all, it's him that always keeps me guessing at the 1970's VW van that sounds like its camming next to me at a stoplight. Those guys have my utmost respect for being able to fab whatever they want and make truely "custom" things. I'm just saying that one of those guys probably wouldn't buy a cobalt.

Just thought of something else. In addition to needing bigger injectors and converting the fuel system to return style will be recommended, I'd say that an LS2 maf sensor will be recommended as well. Allows for broader tuning as the stock maf is being maxed out by people with 2.5 and 2.6" pulleys now. Since this HTV1320 will move gobs more air than the m62, an LS2 maf will almost be a requirement.
