forged pistons, ported head , cometic head gasket, head studs, and maybe cams. I don't think it will blow though. I have been running the 2.5 for 2 years and have been fine

please, if i didn't blow on a 2.5 with no cooling mods you think im blowing on a blower spinning slower and running cooler. Power doesn't blow these suckers i think you know what does.

LSJ, you say would SHOULD have cooling mods or we need them to run this thing?

I know some of us will be on a stock block with very few/no cooling mods, and not even a full exhaust.

I would be running this with 60's, and taking it to go get a dyno tune. Would I need more?

i would highly recommend the exhuast, thats to much to push through the stocker. Cooling mods i would also suggest at least a h/e and dual pass.

Hmm, alright. It sounds like I will need to get the header and dp first then. Yay for loss of top end. I may buy the TVS and keep ti around until I can get the HE and dual pass. Thanks a lot.

PS - Think a 3 inch down to a 2.5 will suffice?
