Most individuals should be fine w/ the 80mm. I doubt people will be buying this unless they have already secured 60lb/hr injectors. Other than the obvious supporting mods, the injectors and tune are most important. I don't see how the 80mm could be a danger to a properly tuned, stock engine car.

Just like the "over-prepared" individuals who request the smaller pulleys, people looking to run very stock applications should be requesting the 85+mm pulley rings. 80mm just seems like a nice comprimise. The research and information is already available here online, so they have no excuse for poor decisions...

My vote...

80mm with a note to limit boost in the PCM for nearly stock vehicles.

You need HP-tuners anyhow for an injector change, plus you'll get better low end boost and a flatter torque curve with this method.

80 mm would be a good place to start......most people looking to upgrade this are going to be wanting a little more then the 85. I have the 75 on mine and it's about as far as I would go before bigger injectors or return system, and some other mods.

recommended that the harrop should be installed with a stage 3 clutch also
80mm would be ok on stock car with catback, intake, and 60s
75mm would need an additional heat exchanger, header and d/p, and 3" exhaust, this just about maxes out the 60s
smaller than 75mm needs 79s and return style fuel system

Thanx that is cool so when you say first batch you mean the whole 50 right or less.
Well, the testers have been saying it's great and pulls real hard. I don't have one personally, but if it's anything like how my twinscrew pulled when it was on my car it will be very nice.

As for the reve limiter, the GM Stage 2 flash allows 7000rpms, so that's what most people set it at with HPTuners. I have mine set at 7200 or 7300, I can't remeber exactly. The reason is so that I can use the full 7000rpms without crashing into the rev limiter, but still prevent me from going past the valvetrain limits by accident.

Yea dam sounds nice dam I can't wait. I am just waiting for my money to come in so i can order one. Well I will do the same because that makes more sense because if i just change it to 7000 then i might have the same problem as i am having now so mine as well use up the whole 7000rpm if i am going to get up there anyways right . Yea def. wouldn't want to go past the limit and have a new thread talking about how i blew my motor with the htv instead of saying i got the htv put on guys lol.

**seeing how much soul is worth to devil**

Man, I'm loving the results of this supercharger just on the 80mm pulley, but i'm staying away til next year. Just bought a manifold so i can start my own porting job like Omega, at least i'll have good supporting mods by next year.

Same here gunna get all supporting mods over this year and the begining of next year i shall get the supercharger its self. Cause what supporting mods i am getting is gunna cost double of what the supercharger its self worth. AKA top end rebuild for the 2.75 might as well go big with it if you can

Drop an email to lsj@harrop.com.au and we will give you some options.

Sounds like 80mm will be the "as-shipped" pulley size.

How many more are left Harrop, if you don't mine me by asking.

I have a question for the testers, you guys say a 80mm is good for a stock car, but i was wondering about the belt. Do you have to buy the stage 2 belt or is the stock belt fine till you get 75mm pulley.

Oh ok sounds good thanx. Well thats cool i will probably buy the stage 2 belt when i get the 75mm pulley just in case. Do you have any slippage with the stock belt.

Cool thanx, so you think it makes a difference if you had the stock belt on instead of the stage 2 belt.
